Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Labour Party, has stated that Nigerians naturally have nothing wrong with them.
Goldennewsng reports that while congratulating Dr. Ije Akunyili, daughter of the late Director-General of National Food and Drug Administration and Control, NAFDAC, and former Minister of Information, Dora Akunyili, for her appointment as the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) in the United States, Obi made the statement on his verified Twitter handle.
The appointment of Akunyili, according to the former governor of Anambra State, demonstrated that Nigerians have nothing fundamentally wrong.
“I sincerely congratulate my dear sister, Dr. Ije Akunyili, on being the first Nigerian to be appointed as the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) in the United States,” Obi wrote. This demonstrates that Nigerians have nothing fundamentally wrong with them.
