Nigeria had a reduced Covid-19 case on Wednesday, 176 compared to the 276 cases announced on Tuesday.
The country’s total figure now stands at 55,632, from which 43,610 has been discharged, with 1,070 deaths recorded.
Plateau State accounted for the rise in figures on Tuesday as a result of the 283 new cases it recorded, but those figures significantly dropped to 26 on Wednesday.
There has been a steady decline in coronavirus cases in the country, but experts have attributed that to low testing.
Currently, from the projected two million target, Nigeria has only recorded 430,712 tests.
