About the Scholarship
The NNPC/TotalEnergies National Merit Scholarship is awarded annually to first and second-year full-time undergraduate students in Nigeria. It is open to students from all fields of study, provided they are studying at NUC-accredited Nigerian universities.
The scholarship covers the student’s financial needs from the year of award until the completion of their undergraduate degree, helping to ease the burden of tuition fees and other academic-related expenses.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for consideration, applicants must:
Be registered full-time undergraduate students in an NUC-accredited Nigerian university.
Be either a 100-level or 200-level student at the time of application.
Ineligibility Criteria
The following categories of students should not apply:
Students who scored less than 200 in their UTME.
200-level students with a CGPA below 2.5 on a 5.0 scale.
Students in 300-level or higher.
Students already benefiting from similar scholarships offered by other entities in the oil and gas industry.

Selection Process
