NPC Enumerators Training Date 2023 can be accessed below.

NPC Enumerators new training for Workforce Refresher Training would take place from April 3 to April 6, 2023. The training for ad hoc employees has also been rescheduled, with the new dates set for April 25 to April 30, 2023. The census night was scheduled for May 2, 2023, while the fieldwork would begin on May 3 and run through May 6, 2023.

Many people are eagerly anticipating the start of the National Population Commission’s (NPC) enumeration exercise, and the LGA Level Training for Enumerators and Supervisors is a crucial component of this operation. Unfortunately, the NPC recently announced that the training, which was supposed to begin on February 6th, 2023, has been cancelled. This news has left many people wondering about the reasons for the cancellation and when the revised training dates will be announced.

According to Mrs. Evelyn Arinola Olanipekun, the Director of Census at the National Population Commission, the LGA Level Training was canceled due to recent changes in the enumeration timeframes. Mrs. Olanipekun made this announcement in a memo on Sunday, but she reassured NPC personnel and the public that the revised training dates will be announced soon.

The NPC Director of Census further explained that the Trainers found the original start date of February 6th to be uncomfortable, and it was necessary to revise the training schedule to accommodate the Specialized Workforce and Facilitators. This personnel had just completed their State Level Training on Sunday, February 5th, 2023, and they would need to recover before beginning the training of Enumerators and Supervisors.

While the cancellation of the LGA Level Training may be a disappointment to many, it is essential to remember that the NPC is working hard to ensure that the enumeration exercise is carried out effectively and efficiently. The revised training dates will be announced soon, and we can expect that the NPC will keep us informed of any further developments.

Mrs. Olanipekun announced that prior to the LGA level training, Self-Learning Sessions and Virtual Classroom Training will be scheduled, despite the cancellation of the initial start date of February 6, 2023. She expressed gratitude for the progress made so far while informing trainees to keep in touch on their respective class WhatsApp platforms for further updates.

However, the Muslim Communities recently requested the National Population Commission to postpone the Population and Housing Census Exercise for 2023 due to the enumeration dates falling within the month of Ramadan. The proposed dates, from  April 25th to 30th, 2023.  (npc enumerators training date)
