However, it’s important to note that users will not be able to activate their profile until authorized by the department in charge.

This will only be possible once the population census has started. It’s also crucial to be cautious when downloading the app from Playstore, as there may be similar-looking applications. The Census Pad (Nigeria) is the only authorized app for the census.

The NPC (National Population Commission) in Nigeria is responsible for conducting the population census in the country, and they have now released an Android application called Census Pad (Nigeria) to aid census workers in their activities. This app is designed to simplify the census process by enabling enumerators and supervisors to collect and transmit data using their smartphones.

Users can download the Census Pad (Nigeria) app from the Playstore, but they will need to wait for authorization from the NPC before they can activate their profile and start using the app. This is to ensure that only authorized individuals have access to the data collected during the census.

It’s important to note that the Census Pad (Nigeria) app is the only authorized app for the census, and users should be careful when downloading similar-looking apps from the Playstore.

The 2005 census in Nigeria was conducted using computers due to the unavailability of smartphones at that time. However, with the advent of smartphones, the NPC has developed this app to make the census process more efficient and effective.

Overall, the Census Pad (Nigeria) app is a significant development in the census process in Nigeria, and its adoption is expected to improve the accuracy and timeliness of data collection.
