1. Management Clarifies The General Public On NPower Batch D Application

The Npower Management has come out to clarify the general public on the NPower Batch D Application news which has been spreading around social media.

The ministry has used its Instagram official account to clarify the general public, stating that the news about the NPower Batch D Application is fake, thereby urgings the general public to ignore the message.

The information by the famed scheme’s handlers became necessary as a viral WhatsApp message claimed that the application for N-Power Batch D is ongoing, and ends “next week”. Now, N-Power has branded it “fake news”.

The general public is to note that there is nothing like Npower Batch D rather what will follow next is Npower Batch C Stream 2 which will consist of the remaining 490,000 beneficiaries to round up the 1,000,000 beneficiaries scheduled to take part in Npower Batch C.

2. Npower Batch C Stream 1 October Payment Update

You can recall that the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development declared on 4th October 2021 as the official date for resumption of “work” by the beneficiaries of the Stream 1 Npower Programme.

This only means that the Ministry will never pay for a month the beneficiaries did not work for as Npower is a work, earn and learn programme. The opposite may have happened in the past but do not expect it in this current leadership.

Some online media has suggested that the payment will be made by the 25th of this month but the 25th of any Month is not a good expectant date for Npower payment. This is because Npower beneficiaries are not permanent Federal workers and the Npower Programme is not institutionalized under the Civil Service Commission.

October payment being the first Stipend to be received by the Batch C Stream 1 Npower beneficiaries, would take a little time because when the Ministry clears for payment, the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation will have to feed the data into the Government Integrated Financial Management Information System server.

When all are set in the server, subsequent payment can then be easy and, would be paid earlier before the 7th of the following Month. The beneficiaries of the Batch C Stream 1 Npower Programme should expect their October Stipend from 1st to 10th November 2021.
3. NASIMS Reshapes Intra And Inter-state Npower Redeployment Process

The National Social Investment Management System (NASIMS) has issued new directives to Npower beneficiaries who may wish to redeploy within or outside their current States of Residence.

In consideration of the beneficiaries and to ensure relationship to Places of Primary Assignment, the management has ensured that all beneficiaries who may wish to be reposted, receive responses within 48 hours.

According to NASIMS,

“After successful completion of the redeployment request, beneficiaries will be contacted within 48 hours of the status of the request.”

“If you are not contacted within 48 hours, please call the customer care number on 092203102, 018888148,” the Npower Management added.

4. Management Releases New Contact Emails For Resolving Redeployment Issues

The NPower management has released contact emails for Batch C Stream 1 beneficiaries who are seeking redeployment and other enquiries, so if you are among the Npower Batch C beneficiaries, then make sure you read until the end.

The NPower management has used their Official Instagram Account to share contact emails which will enable them to assist beneficiaries who are having redeployment issues and other general inquiries.

The ministry has urged beneficiaries to use support.npower@nasims.gov.ng for general enquiries and redeployment.npower@nasims.gov.ng for Redeployment issues in order to assist them better.

Batch C Stream 1 beneficiaries are advised to make use of these contact channels to enable the ministry to serve them better.
5. When Npower Batch C Stream 2 Will Commence

The Batch C Stream 1 Physical Verification which is the last phase of the official engagement of the beneficiaries into the Npower programme has ended on the 30th of September.

Applicants who were not shortlisted in Stream 1, will get another chance to be shortlisted in Stream 2 which the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development have assured that there will be Npower Batch C Stream 2.

According to the Ministry, the Npower Batch C Stream 2 would consist of 490,000 beneficiaries which will sum up to the 1,000,000 Npower beneficiaries which are earlier projected to be engaged in the N-power Programme.

Npower Batch C Stream 2 will commence officially from January 2022. This can be clearly seen by the spate and number of months it has taken to engage the Batch C Stream 1 Npower beneficiaries.

The Npower Batch C Stream 2 Shortlisting has not commenced yet, so ignore any news concerning the commencement of Batch C Stream 2.

That’s all for the Npower latest news for today Saturday 30th October 2021, make sure to share this article and always come back from time to time for more Npower latest news.
