In today’s Latest Npower News, we did research to find out the how Npower beneficiaries are taking the ongoing silence from Management regarding their 9 months’ unpaid stipends. And with the help of Bard, we found out the following Reactions:.

NPower beneficiaries across Nigeria have called on the management of the program to fulfill its promise to commence the payment of their outstanding stipends for nine months. The beneficiaries, who are owed arrears from December 2022 to September 2023, have expressed growing frustration over the delay in payments, which has caused significant financial hardship for many couple with the current situation of the country( increase in cost of living, No Jobs and more).

In October 2023, the N-Power management announced that it would begin the disbursement of the outstanding stipends to beneficiaries starting in November. However, despite this promise, payments have yet to be made, leaving beneficiaries in a state of uncertainty and anxiety.

One of the Beneficiary’s Expression: “We are facing serious financial challenges due to the non-payment of our stipends,” The Beneficiary who wished to remain anonymous. “Many of us have dependents to cater for, and the delay in payments is making it extremely difficult to meet our basic needs.

Another beneficiary expressed concern about the impact of the delayed payments on their ability to pursue further education or vocational training. “I had planned to use my NPower stipend to enroll in a skills acquisition program,” she said. “But now, I’m not sure if I’ll be able to afford it with the delay in payments.”

The beneficiaries have urged the N-Power management to expedite the payment process and provide clear timelines for when they can expect to receive their outstanding stipends. They have also called for greater transparency and accountability in the management of the program’s finances.

“We understand that there may have been some challenges in processing the payments,” said one beneficiary. “But we are asking for more transparency and communication from the management. We need to know when we can expect to receive our money.”

The N-Power program, which is designed to provide unemployed youth with skills and work experience, has been lauded for its role in reducing youth unemployment and promoting social inclusion. However, the recent delays in stipend payments have cast a shadow over the program’s reputation and raised concerns about its sustainability.

The N-Power management has yet to respond to the beneficiaries’ concerns. However, it is hoped that the authorities will take swift action to address the issue and ensure that the outstanding stipends are paid promptly. The well-being of thousands of N-Power beneficiaries depends on it.
