According to NASIMS:

Npower Addresses Issue Of Batch C2 Applicants With Shortlisted Status
Are you among Npower Batch C Stream 2 applicants with Shortlisted Status in the ongoing Batch C Stream 2 enrollment exercise? if yes, then this article is for you as we will be sharing with you what Npower Management Said About Applicants With Shortlisted Status
The Shortlisted displayed on some of the Npower batch C stream 2 applicants dashboard has been the most talked-about issue disturbing the prospective volunteers of the Npower stream 2 programs because they find it confusing seeing Shortlisted but still remain applicants.
It is important to understand that the word Shortlist is a list of people who have been judged the most suitable for a job, made from a longer list of people originally considered, and from which one person will be chosen. So until you are selected as a beneficiary, you are still a Npower applicant according to Npower.
