NPower Stipend Payment and Nasims News for Npower Batch C2 Today, Thursday 23 March 2023 has emerged.

The NPower program is a social intervention scheme designed by the Nigerian government to address youth unemployment in the country. As part of the program, participants are paid a monthly stipend to support their living expenses. Recently, there have been updates on the stipend payment process through the Nasims portal. Here is what you need to know:

  1. Nasims Portal: The NPower program has migrated its activities to the National Social Investment Management System (Nasims) portal. This includes the registration, screening, selection, and payment of stipends to beneficiaries.
  2. Stipend Payment: The payment of NPower stipends is done on a monthly basis, and beneficiaries are expected to receive their payments before the end of each month. The stipend is paid directly into the bank accounts of beneficiaries, which they provided during the registration process.
  3. Payment Delays: In some instances, there may be delays in the payment of stipends due to technical issues or other challenges. Beneficiaries are advised to remain patient and keep checking the Nasims portal for updates on the payment process.
  4. Nexit Program: The NPower program has also introduced the Nexit program, which is designed to help exited beneficiaries transition into entrepreneurship or employment opportunities. Beneficiaries who are interested in the Nexit program are required to register on the Nasims portal to be considered for opportunities.
  5. Communication Channels: The NPower program regularly communicates with beneficiaries through various channels, including email, SMS, and social media. Beneficiaries are advised to regularly check their email and the Nasims portal for updates on the program.

We have received disheartening reports from our Monitoring and Evaluation team on some of our beneficiaries who do not report for work at their different PPAs, Npower said.

We are working tirelessly to ensure that beneficiaries stipends and those with backlogs are cleared and we also want to make it clear that any beneficiary, who is found absent in his/her PPA without official permission from his/her supervisor will be placed on payment hold for 45 days, Npower warns beneficiaries.

Furthermore, if at the end of the 45 days, there is no official clearance letter for re-instatement of the beneficiary by the State Focal Person, the beneficiary will be exited from the N-Power Programme.

Npower C2 Beneficiaries complaining of non-payment of stipends

Npower management has said that they are currently sending out messages with instructions and links to Beneficiaries with invalid accounts on their payroll to enable them to get their account revalidated and possibly paid.

According to Npower, the issues of non-payment of stipends by some Beneficiaries as complained resulted from the invalid account. When you receive the message, kindly act according to the instruction contained therein to reclaim your payments.

Furthermore, for the Npower C1 Beneficiaries complaining of non-payment of stipends, the Npower management Nasims have also said that they are aware of the non-payment of some C1 beneficiaries for some months. However, please use the appropriate channel as attached below this post to lodge your complaint, and ensure the inclusion of your Npower ID and account details for RESOLUTION and appropriate action.

Send your non-payment complaints to [email protected] for the Npower batch C stream 1 beneficiary.
