NPower Stipend Payment and Nasims News for Npower Batch C2 Today, Thursday 23 March 2023 has emerged.
The NPower program is a social intervention scheme designed by the Nigerian government to address youth unemployment in the country. As part of the program, participants are paid a monthly stipend to support their living expenses. Recently, there have been updates on the stipend payment process through the Nasims portal. Here is what you need to know:
- Nasims Portal: The NPower program has migrated its activities to the National Social Investment Management System (Nasims) portal. This includes the registration, screening, selection, and payment of stipends to beneficiaries.
- Stipend Payment: The payment of NPower stipends is done on a monthly basis, and beneficiaries are expected to receive their payments before the end of each month. The stipend is paid directly into the bank accounts of beneficiaries, which they provided during the registration process.
- Payment Delays: In some instances, there may be delays in the payment of stipends due to technical issues or other challenges. Beneficiaries are advised to remain patient and keep checking the Nasims portal for updates on the payment process.
- Nexit Program: The NPower program has also introduced the Nexit program, which is designed to help exited beneficiaries transition into entrepreneurship or employment opportunities. Beneficiaries who are interested in the Nexit program are required to register on the Nasims portal to be considered for opportunities.
- Communication Channels: The NPower program regularly communicates with beneficiaries through various channels, including email, SMS, and social media. Beneficiaries are advised to regularly check their email and the Nasims portal for updates on the program.
