First things first, make sure to print and sign the Addendum. This document is crucial and will be required during your registration at the Orientation Camp. It’s always best to be prepared, so don’t forget this step!
Now, let’s talk about safety. It’s essential to prioritize your well-being, especially when traveling to the Orientation Camps. Avoid night journeys as they can pose risks to your safety. If your journey is extending beyond 6:00 pm, consider breaking it and spending the night in military or police barracks, NYSC Secretariat, Corps Lodges, or other safe accommodations.
Those deployed will be able to print their Call-up Letter from their dashboard at https://portal.nysc.org.ng
When you receive your Call-up letter, read it thoroughly. It contains vital information and guidelines that you’ll need throughout your service year. You can access your Call-up Letter from your dashboard on the NYSC portal.
Here’s some important information about the Orientation Course locations:
- If you’re deployed to the FCT, your Orientation Course may be in Nasarawa or Kaduna Camps.
- For those heading to Lagos, your Orientation Course could be in Osun or Ogun Camps.
- All PCMs deployed to Zamfara State will have their Orientation Course in either Sokoto or Kebbi State.
If you notice any discrepancies in your details, such as name arrangement or spelling errors, don’t worry. You can apply for corrections on your dashboard.
Attention, married female prospective corps members! If you’ve been deployed to a state where your husband isn’t residing, you can request a change in your State of Deployment. Simply report to the nearest NYSC Orientation Camp during the registration period with copies of your marital documents. Once the change is processed, it will reflect on your dashboard for reprinting.
