Following the initiation of the NYSC Portal for the Online Registration of the 2023 Batch B, the NYSC has now released the deployment information for 2023 Batch B Stream 1. The Orientation Course is scheduled to commence on July 12th, 2023.

Those who have been deployed can obtain their Call-up Letter by visiting their dashboard on the official NYSC website: https://portal.nysc.org.ng.

For NYSC PCMs who are unable to print their Call-up Letters, they have been transferred to the 2023 Batch B Stream II. You will receive a notification when it is time to print your Call-up Letter.

The NYSC 2023 Batch B Stream I Orientation Course will be held in all NYSC Orientation Camps according to the following schedule:

a. Commencement/Registration: Wednesday, 12th July, 2023.

b. Cut-Off Date for Registration: Thursday Midnight, 13th July, 2023.

c. Swearing-In Ceremony: Friday, 14th July, 2023.

d. Closing Ceremony: Tuesday, 1st August, 2023.

Requirements for Registration:

(a). Original Call-up Letter or printed Call-up Letter obtained online.

(b). Original Statement of Result or Certificate endorsed by an authorized officer with an authentic signature.

(c). School Identity Card.

(d). Foreign graduates must present their International Passport and original copies of all uploaded documents.

(e). Medical Doctors, Pharmacists, Physiotherapists, Nurses, Medical Laboratory Scientists, Radiographers, Optometrists, and graduates of Health Record & Information Management are required to provide evidence of registration with their respective Professional Bodies.

(f). Additionally, every Prospective Corps Member must present a Certificate of Fitness from a Government or Military Hospital affixed with the Nigeria Medical Association (NMA) Stamp, indicating their health status, before registration.

Additional Information:

  1. All prospective Corps Members assigned to the 2023 Batch B Stream I Orientation Course should proceed to their respective camps as specified in their Call-up Letters. Foreign-trained graduates should report to the camp with their International Passports and original copies of all uploaded documents.
  2. Prospective Corps Members are strongly advised against traveling at night to the Orientation Camps to ensure their safety. If the journey extends beyond 6:00 pm, it is recommended to halt and spend the night in military or police barracks, NYSC Secretariats, Corps Lodges, or other secure locations. PCMs should carefully read their Call-up letters as they contain all relevant information and guidelines.
  3. Parents and Guardians are urged to caution their wards to be vigilant regarding security and to avoid boarding vehicles by the roadside or those not registered with the NURTW while traveling to the Camp. They should only use government-approved motor parks to prevent falling victim to criminals. They should also be informed about the risks associated with traveling at night.
  4. Prospective Corps Members from Mono/Polytechnics must present their National Diploma (ND) Certificates, along with other relevant documents, as a prerequisite for registration at the Orientation Camps nationwide.
  5. Prospective Corps Members are strongly advised not to present any forged document during the registration process. The management has implemented strict measures to detect and prosecute anyone found in possession of fake documents.
  6. In case of a lost Call-up Letter, the prospective Corps Member who received the Call-up letter from their institution should obtain a Police Report and a Sworn Affidavit. They should then report to their graduation institution for further necessary action. Those who initially printed their Call-up Letters online can reprint them in case of loss.
  7. Failure to report for service in the Service Corps as directed in the Call-up Letter or refusing to make oneself available for service will result in prosecution in accordance with the provisions of Section 13 sub-section 1(a) and (b) of the NYSC Act, Cap. N84, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004.
  8. Furthermore, any person who is ineligible to participate in the Service Corps or has already been issued a Certificate of National Service or Certificate of Exemption but still attempts to participate will be prosecuted in accordance with Section 13 sub-section 2(a) and (b) of the NYSC Act, Cap. N84, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004.
  9. Married pregnant and nursing mothers who have not been deployed to their husbands’ places of domicile can now proceed to the NYSC Orientation Camps in their spouses’ States of residence for the Orientation Course. They must present the following documents for registration, in addition to other relevant documents: (i). Evidence of marriage, (ii). Identity of husband, (iii). Evidence of husband’s place of domicile.
