NYSC 2023 Batch B Stream II: Important Updates
Just a week ago, the NYSC Portal opened its doors for online registration of the 2023 Batch B Stream II. Exciting news follows as NYSC has now unveiled the deployment details for this batch, with the Orientation Course schedule set to begin soon.

All successfully deployed candidates can now access their Call-up Letter conveniently from their personal dashboard on the NYSC Portal: https://portal.nysc.org.ng
Orientation Course Locations
For some of those assigned to Lagos, the Orientation Course will be conducted in Ogun, Osun, and Oyo Camps. Alternatively, candidates deployed to FCT will undergo their orientation in Nasarawa and Niger Camps.
Registration Requirements
Ensure you have the following documents ready for registration:
- Original Call-up Letter (physical or printed online)
- Original Statement of Result or Authorized Officer-endorsed Certificate
- School Identity Card
- International Passport (for foreign graduates)
- Medical Practitioners and Healthcare Graduates: Proof of Professional Body Registration
- Government/Military Hospital-issued Certificate of Fitness with NMA Stamp
Additional Details to Note
- Orientation Course Attendance: All prospective Corps Members for the 2023 Batch B Stream II are advised to adhere to the camp location mentioned in their Call-up Letters. Foreign-trained graduates should bring their International Passports and original documents.
- Safety Precautions: It’s strongly recommended to avoid night journeys to Orientation Camps for safety reasons. If your travel goes beyond 6:00 pm, consider staying in secure places such as military barracks, NYSC Secretariats, or approved lodges.
- Security Awareness: Parents and Guardians, please emphasize security consciousness to your wards. Encourage them to use government-approved motor parks and avoid unregistered vehicles.
- Certificates for Mono/Polytechnic Graduates: National Diploma (ND) certificates are required alongside other relevant documents for registration at the Orientation Camps nationwide.
- Avoid Fake Documents: Prospective Corps Members must refrain from using counterfeit documents during registration. Strict measures are in place to detect and prosecute offenders.
- Lost Call-up Letter: In case of a lost Call-up Letter, follow the recommended steps: Obtain a Police Report and Sworn Affidavit, then report to your institution for further guidance. Online-printed Call-up Letters can be reprinted if lost.
- Non-Compliance Consequences: Failure to adhere to the Call-up Letter’s directives may result in prosecution under Section 13 sub-section 1(a) and (b) of the NYSC Act, Cap. N84, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004.
- Ineligible Participation: Individuals ineligible for NYSC service or possessing a National Service Certificate/Certificate of Exemption but attempting to participate may face prosecution under Section 13 sub-section 2(a) and (b) of the NYSC Act, Cap. N84, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004.
- Special Consideration: Married pregnant and nursing mothers not deployed to their husbands’ domiciles can attend Orientation Camps in their spouses’ States. Necessary documents include evidence of marriage, husband’s identity, and husband’s domicile proof.
