NYSC Portal is live for 2025 Remobilization

GoldenNewsNg reports that the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has officially announced the opening of its remobilization portal, effective from Thursday, July 3rd to Wednesday, July 16th, 2025. This opportunity is specifically for corps members who absconded from service but have not faced any disciplinary action in their assigned states.

According to NYSC, “The completion of this application form shows that you are ready to come back and complete your service after you have refunded the NYSC.” Upon successful refund and approval of the application, eligible individuals will be allowed to register for the current NYSC batch once the portal reopens.

Key Points:

  • Application Window: July 3rd – July 16th, 2025

  • Target Audience: Corps members who absconded but were not penalized

  • Next Step: Remobilized applicants will be able to join the next NYSC batch after approval

  • Refund Requirement: A refund to NYSC must be made before approval

Important Notes:

Only candidates whose applications are approved will be permitted to proceed with full registration.

To apply, visit the official NYSC portal: https://portal.nysc.org.ng  OR https://portal.nysc.org.ng/nysc1/RemobInterest.aspx

Special Instructions for Married Female Corps Members:

Female married corps members must upload supporting documents immediately after applying, except for those from Batch 2014B and earlier, who can wait until full registration. Required documents include:

  • Marriage certificate or court affidavit

  • Husband’s ID card

  • Proof of husband’s residence (e.g., utility bills or employer’s letter)

  • Newspaper publication of name change

This remobilization process offers absconded corps members a second chance to complete their national service, an opportunity that comes with the expectation of commitment and discipline.
