Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) has released its pre-degree admission form for the 2024/2025 academic session.

Step 1: Apply on the OAU Admission Portal

To begin your application, visit the OAU registration portal at OAU Registration. Provide your name, email address, phone number, and a password to create an account.

Create an account here: https://reg.oaucdl.edu.ng/Auth/Signup

Step 2: Confirm Your Email Address

After creating your account, a confirmation email will be sent to you. Click on the link provided in the email to confirm your email address.

Step 3: Log in to the Registration Portal

Once your email address is confirmed, return to the OAU registration portal at OAU Login and log in using your email and password.

Step 4: Choose Payment Method

After logging in, select the payment method (e-Tranzact) from the options available.

Step 5: Pay the Application Fee

Select the pre-degree program from the list of available programs. The application fee is fifteen thousand naira (N15,000). You can pay using a debit card or bank transfer by following the on-screen instructions.

Step 6: Complete and Submit the Application Form

Fill out the application form by providing all necessary information and uploading your passport photograph and other required documents. After filling in all the details, click the submit button to finalize your application.

The deadline for submitting all completed pre-degree forms is 26th July 2024. Ensure you complete and submit your application before this date.

  • Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) with options in Computer Science, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, and Statistics.
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
  • Bachelor of Engineering with options in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Agricultural/Bio Resources Engineering.
  • Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) with options in Biochemistry, Microbiology, Zoology and Environmental Biology, Plant Science and Biotechnology.
  • Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) with options in Food Science and Technology, Human Nutrition and Dietetics, Home Economics and Hospitality Management, and Tourism.
  • Bachelor of Fisheries and Aquatics Resources Management, Bachelor of Forestry and Environmental Management, and Bachelor of Environmental Management and Toxicology.
  • Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) with options in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management, and Entrepreneurial Studies.

Admission Requirements

Applicants must have a minimum of five ‘O’ Level Credits at one or two sittings in English Language, Mathematics, and three other relevant Science subjects in SSCE/GCE organized by WAEC and NECO or any other equivalent certificates.

For Basic Medicine, the required five ‘O’ Level Credits must be in one sitting. Accepted candidates must enroll and write the 2024/2025 JAMB/UTME with relevant subjects’ combination to any program.

Mode of Admission

The pre-degree program runs for two semesters (one academic session) with face-to-face lectures at Obafemi Awolowo University.
