Hon Chief Victor Okemena Egbo, the Executive Assistant (EA) to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa On Security Matters and Delta PDP State Youth Leader, has been appointed as a member of the Board of Governing Council, National Community Policing Campaign (NCPC).
GoldenNewsNg reports that He has also been awarded with the recognition as “The Best Ambassador On Safety, Security, And Community Development Services Man of The Year 2022 by the leadership of the National Community Policing Campaign (NCPC).
The media learnt on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, during the visit of the office of Executive Assistant to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa On Security Matters by the leadership of the National Community Policing Campaign (NCPC) led by Dr Kingsley Uba and The Delta State Co-ordinator, NCPC and other top officials who witnessed the Inauguration at the Delta PDP Secretariat in Asaba, Delta State capital as Hon. Chief Victor Okemena Egbo dedicates Award to God.
NCPC Director-General, Dr Kingsley Uba while commending Security Agencies in the State for their roles in making Delta State one of the most peaceful states in Nigeria, stated that the National Community Policing Campaign, an operative arm of Community Crime Sensitization and Awareness Centre is a reputable coordinating Non-Governmental organization working on safety, security and anti-corruption in partnership with ICPC, Nigerian Police Force, National Anti-Corruption Coalition, NACC is committed to creating the needed awareness sensitization in every community to prevent crime through effective and efficient community policing projects, reduce the challenges faced by traditional rulers, community leaders; youth leaders, women leaders, chiefs in their various Local Government Areas of the State.

The Executive Assistant to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on security matters and the Delta PDP Youth Leader is reputed for hs impeccable character, prompt response to security matters, and commitment to peace.
His philanthropic gestures, community development services and other attributes are said to have earned the Award of excellence.
Dr Kingsley Uba, a safety, security and community development expert has urged Governor Okowa’s Aide on Security Matters to ensure partnership with the organization towards community policing campaign Projects.
NCPC DG during the award of investiture to Hon. Chief Victor Okemena Egbo, also inaugurated him as a member, the Board of Governing Council, National Community Policing Campaign Projects.
He tasked the Governor’s aid on technical support to the Organization towards promoting a crime-free society, while he proposed seminars at the grassroots to awaken the minds of traditional rulers, youths, community leaders and other critical Stakeholders towards crime prevention, neighbourhood watch initiatives as well join the Organization towards embarking on speed limit Sensitization during this season in partnership with FRSC in various Communities has become very imperative to support other Security agencies in combating crime in the State as Police cannot be everywhere.
Responding to the kind gestures of Appointment and excellent Award by NCPC Leadership, The Executive Assistant EA to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa On Security Matters, and Delta PDP State Youth Leader, Hon Chief Victor Okemena Egbo commended the efforts of the State Government led by his Boss, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, Security Agencies and other critical stakeholders in the promotion of Peace And Security in Delta State.
He thanked the group’s leadership for the kind recognition accorded to him and his office and promised to pass the message of the group on crime prevention initiative down to the grassroots through the Traditional Rulers, Community leaders, Youth leaders and other critical stakeholders in the 25 LGAs of the State.
He dedicated the Award of Excellence as “Best Ambassador On Safety, Security and Community Development Services of The Year 2022”.
Those who celebrated with the EA are his staff, some Community Youth leaders, members of the family and some other PDP leaders in the State during the Inaugural ceremony in Asaba today.
