Pan African University Postgraduate Scholarship 2023

The Pan African University Postgraduate Scholarships Awards for African students at the four host universities are currently open for applications for the 2023/2024 cycle. If you are interested, please review the eligibility criteria and familiarize yourself with the application procedure.

The Pan African University is a project initiated by the African Union’s Heads of State and Government. It is a prestigious university network with the aim of providing high-quality postgraduate education to contribute towards a prosperous, united, and peaceful Africa.

The Pan-African University (PAU) is a network of university nodes located in five regions, funded by the African Union and the Association of African Universities, focusing on postgraduate training and research.

The first African Ministerial Conference on Science and Technology took place in Johannesburg, South Africa, in 2003, with the objective of enhancing the quality of science and technology education and, consequently, the productivity of African economies.

These ideas were further developed in a “concept note” that outlined the goals of the PAU. The establishment of the PAU was approved by the African Union in 2008, and a high-level panel was selected in 2009 to oversee its implementation. The PAU was officially established in 2011, and its university charter was approved in 2013.

Information about the Scholarship:

The following four PAU institutes are now accepting applications from talented and motivated individuals from Africa and the African Diaspora to join their master’s or doctoral degree programs.
