DJ’s Worst Hit By Covid19 Economic Hardship

DJ’s do not often have a full time job. Many of them survive from the earnings that they make every weekend. From one party to another they make a lot of money on week end but since the lock down began and the corona virus caused the government to enforce social distancing rule, many DJ’s have been living from hand to mouth.

Before corona virus ravaged the  current social order, DJ’s often attend parties all night and go from event to event. From homes to other social gatherings and shows, DJ’s offer their services and are able to pay their bills from what they earn.

As the pandemic affected many professionals in the creative industry, they were not spared since social distancing does not permit people to gather for parties or any occasion. One celebrity that ave shown concern for the plight of DJ’s is comedian Alibaba who have been calling on Nigerian to beam their searchlight on the damage that covid19 has done in the creative industry already.

He recently released a form or questionnaire for DJ’sin the country so that everyone will come to realize what they are going through since social life was completely paralyzed by covid19.
