The People’s Democratic Party PDP has categorically condemned the reported increase in Petrol Prices to N151 per litre, as well as electricity tariff to N66 per Kwh.
The Party’s National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbondiya, in a statement called the decision callous and suggested that the ruling All Progressives Congress APC was deliberately punishing Nigerians.
“The Party demands an immediate reversal of the Petrol Prices to avert a National crises, as the increase will result in upsurge in costs of goods and services and worsen the biting hardship facing Nigerians who are already impoverished and overburdened by APC imposed high cost of living in the last five years.”
