Mercy Johnson was delivered of a baby girl and she chose to name her Divine-Mercy. The name is likely traceable to her catholic background in which children born in the period close to divine mercy Sunday are named Mercy.
Her choice of name for her baby shocked many people who expected to hear some flashy names, the kind that has been observed in the naming of most celebrity babies. Names such as; Prince, Princess, Gold, King are quite common among Nigerian celebrity kids.
The naming of her new child Divine-Mercy no doubt makes her appear religious but many people that have watched her early films will not want to admit that because the actress had a rough past.
