Many Nigerians under the Nigeria ministry of Humanitarian and Disaster management affairs have been criticizing the minister Hajia Umar Farouk over her style of handling the portfolio assignee to her by the Muhammadu Buhari administration.
The attacks against her stem from her insistence that the governments school feeding program must continue daily despite the lock down in many states. The minister said that the pupils will be fed at home but many people think otherwise. They have accused her of trying to siphon public funds in the name of school feeding which gulps millions of naira monthly.
Among her attackers is a Nigerian Musician Edrees Abdulkareem who is known for his fearless criticisms of public officials and government. He accused the honorable minister of lying even during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.
Since the minister decided to go on with the school feeding program which will not feed pupils in their homes, she announced some days ago that she has spent some amount of money to carry it out. But er announcement was met with criticisms and attacks from Edrees who believes that she is committing financial fraud and not feeding the pupils.
