Recall that Sule Lamido in an interview with The Sun newspaper alleged that Jonathan betrayed the PDP in Bayelsa as a result of the federal government is “blackmailing him” over Malabu issue.

Former President Goodluck who reacted to Sule Lamido’s claim earlier delineated it as absurd and deliberately designed as a kind of blackmail. He additionally expressed regret that former Jigawa State Governor can join the ‘irresponsible orchestra’ that he was to blame for the PDP’s loss in the last governorship election in Bayelsa state.

Reacting to the heated exchange between the Goodluck Jonathan and Sule Lamido, President Buhari’s spokesperson Garba Shehu delineated the previous Jigawa Governor’s claim as “false and irresponsible” and additionally wondered why it absolutely was given newspaper coverage.
