The Defence Headquarters has publicly disclosed the names and ranks of the Nigerian Army commander, three officers, and 12 soldiers who met their tragic demise during an assault in a Delta community.
In a heartfelt announcement via their X account on Monday, the Defence Headquarters paid tribute by sharing images and the identities of these valiant soldiers from the 181 Amphibious Battalion.
These soldiers were on a mission aimed at maintaining peace and addressing clashes in the Bomadi Local Government Area of Delta State. Unfortunately, they fell victim to an ambush.
The courageous individuals who lost their lives are:
