Rhodes-Vivour, while addressing pressmen in Lagos on Wednesday, told Lagosians that their common enemies were violence, insecurity, poverty, stagnation, corruption and underdevelopment.

He also went ahead to assert that the governorship and state assembly election was never held in the state last Saturday.

He said, “There was no election in Lagos state. It was violent at multiple levels physically and diabolic.

My dear Lagosians, our enemies are not our neighbours or our visitors or fellow Lagosians. Our common enemy is violence, insecurity, poverty, stagnation, corruption and underdevelopment.”

Earlier, reports that GRV took to the micro-blogging platform, Twitter, to claim that the emergence of the second-term win of the state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu was illegitimate.

He said “Agberocracy has Produced an Illegitimate government. Now more than ever, it is time for #ourlagos.”

Rhodes-Vivour, who lost the governorship race to the incumbent Lagos State governor, Sanwo-Olu has vowed to challenge the outcome of the election in court.

While he scored 312,329 votes in the last Saturday’s election, Sanwo-Olu got 762,134 votes and the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state, Abdul-Azeez Adediran, aka Jandor got 62,449 votes.
