A popular Media personality Uti Nwachukwu has expressed strong reservations against the act of speaking in tongues particularly because of the lack of interpretation
Uti noted that a lot of people now abuse the religious practice and even resort to faking it – The media personality warned against saying ‘amen’ especially when the words spoken in tongues are not understood
Uti in a series of posts shared on Twitter delved into the act of speaking in tongues in Christianity, and how it is worrisome that there is hardly any interpretation for the words spoken in tongues.
According to Uti, the religious practice has been abused in the Christian community and it has even gotten to a point where people easily fake it.
He said: “Speaking in tongues has been abused so much in the Christian community because its SOOO EASY TO FAKE IT.

Its way more difficult to fake interpretation so they emphasise of speaking! Its so bad that you are made to feel like an infidel if you can’t speak in tongues! Whyyy???”
Uti pleaded with those who care to listen to refrain from answering ‘amen’ whenever they do not understand prayers being offered in tongues. To drive his point home, Uti noted that most people wouldn’t sign a life-changing contract which is written in a foreign language, as such they should be careful when it comes to prophecies and declarations being offered in tongues.
I find it sooo weird that a LOT of Christians speak in tongues,
But till today I have not met ONE person that can interprete the tongues.Afterall the Bible(1Cor12 V10) says Holy Spirit gifts some with tongues and others with interpretation?🤷🏾♂️
