Supreme Court Upholds Kogi Governor’s Election

The Nigerian Supreme Court on Monday upheld the election of Yahaya Bello as Governor of Kogi State.

The country’s Apex court in it’s judgement disagreed with the appeal filed by the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party PDP, Musa Wada, on five grounds.

Musa Wada it will be recalled had claimed that the election held on November 16, 2019 was rigged and that Governor Bello didn’t secure the highest vote as well as other forms of electoral infractions.
