Tonto Dikeh, a politician and actress from Nigeria, has apologized to Funke Akindele, her coworker.
Goldennewsng reports that this comes after she skipped the premiere of Battle on Buka Street, Akindele’s most recent film.
On December 11, the movie had its world premiere in Lagos.
To help one of their own, coworkers such as Iyabo Ojo, Sola Sobowale, Mercy Johnson Okojie, Nkechi Blessing Sunday, and Femi Adebayo, among others, showed up.
Tonto was also invited to the movie’s premiere, but he didn’t show up for unknown reasons.
She wrote, expressing regret for missing the movie’s premiere:
Best wishes, sis.
I am sorry that I was unable to attend the premiere of BATTLE ON BUKA STREET. My group couldn’t quit letting me know how astonishing the film is and I can hardly sit tight for our films date to go see the film!!!
Guys, BATTLE ON BUKA STREET will begin showing nationwide on December 16, so make sure you see it!
We’re back together, sis @funkejenifaakindele.
Funke responded when she saw the post: Many thanks, my sister.
