UNICAL 2025/2026 Admission List Now Available on JAMB CAPS. Read the guidelines to check yours below..
The University of Calabar (UNICAL) has released its admission list for the 2025/2026 academic session. Candidates who participated in the Post-UTME screening exercise can now check their admission status on the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admission Processing System (CAPS).
How to Check UNICAL Admission Status on JAMB CAPS

Visit the JAMB e-Facility portal via https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/.

Log in with your registered email address and password.

Click on “Check Admission Status.”

Select “Access My CAPS.”

Click on “Admission Status” to confirm if you have been offered admission.

If admitted, your photo and a congratulatory message will appear.

If not yet admitted, the system will display “Sorry, No Admission Has Been Given Yet.”
Next Steps for Admitted Candidates

Accept or Reject the admission by sending ACCEPT or REJECT via SMS to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number linked to your JAMB profile.

Admission offers must be accepted within 4 weeks. Candidates without access to their linked phone number should visit a JAMB-accredited centre for assistance.

After accepting, print your JAMB Admission Letter for use during clearance and registration at UNICAL.

Some mobile users may not see the full CAPS options. Switch your browser to desktop mode (Chrome is recommended) to view all features.

Candidates whose status reads “Admission in Progress” are advised to keep checking, as updates may be made in the coming days.
