University Of Ibadan Distance Learning
The Distance Learning Centre of the University of Ibadan is inviting applications from qualified candidates for admission into its fifteen (15) National Universities Commission-validated degree programs for the 2023/2024 Academic Session.
The University of Ibadan’s Distance Learning Program utilizes an approved ICT-enabled curriculum delivery mode known as ODeL (Open, Distance and eLearning). This mode combines online delivery (60%) and face-to-face interaction (40%). The online delivery is facilitated through a Specialized Learning Management System called Mobile Class, which allows learners to study and engage with their e-tutors, course lecturers/facilitators, and fellow students in real-time.
The University Of Ibadan Offers Two Modes Of Educational Delivery:
the conventional on-site mode and the ODeL mode. Both modes are considered equally valid for pursuing a University of Ibadan degree, as the university enforces a “Parity of Esteem” policy. This policy ensures that students in both modes have the same rights, privileges, and exposure to the university curriculum and examinations conducted by the same course lecturers/facilitators, resulting in the same University of Ibadan degree.
