A tragic incident occurred today as a fuel tanker exploded at a filling station in Awka, Anambra state capital.
Though the number of casualties from the incident which occurred at Mobil petrol station in Awka, Anambra State capital on Thursday December 23 could not be ascertained at the time of filing this report, it caused a heavy gridlock on Onitsha-Awka road.
Fire fighters were seen in videos shared online, battling to put out the fire which was still raging at the time of their arrival.
