The Youth forum of Benue State known as Benue Youth Forum, BYF has called on the attention of Tiv traditional elders to withdraw the title of “Zege Mule U Tiv” from People Democratic Party presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.
Goldennewsng gathered report that the BYF President, Terrence Kuanum, said Atiku should be stripped of the title due to his support for Fulani herders attacking communities in Benue State.
Atiku had, while fielding questions during a presidential interactive session organized by Arewa Joint Committee held at Arewa House in Kaduna at the weekend, said he was “very angry with Governor Ortom for profiling Fulani as bandits and terrorists because he (Atiku) is also a Fulani person.”
Condemning the remark, BYF urged Atiku to stop making careless and unpresidential utterances.
