Nigerian superstar singer, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun popularly known as Wizkid, has once again shown that he is a pace setter in the music business.
Goldennewsng reports that his last album, Made In Lagos has been certified Gold in the United States of America.
According to Africa Facts Zone, the latest achievement means Starboy is the first artiste to have an African album get Gld certification in US.
The Recording Industry Association of America, RIAA, states that Gold certification is awarded to artistes when their single or album sells at least 500,000 units in the United States.
This is not the only feat that has accorded the award-winning singer bragging rights, as his smash hit single, Essence feat Tems, is also the first African song to be certified Platinum in USA.
