Businesswoman, Blessing Ossom popularly known as Lady Golfer has reacted to an allegation that she is a mistress to the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Godswill Akpabio.
A journalist, Jackson Ude had on Friday alleged that Ossom was paid the sum of $50,000 to malign the image of Akwa Ibom Governor, Emmanuel Udom.
Ude also accused Akpabio of looting N215bn from the Niger Delta Development Commission which he heads.
He tweeted: “After looting NDDC of N215billion, Niger Delta Minister, Godswill Akpabio, would be cooling off this weekend in Room 409, Hilton Hotel, Abuja, with his girlfriend, Blessing Ossom. Ossom got $50k from Akpabio to wage Social Media War against Gov Udom a few days ago with one Zion.”
Reacting to the allegation via Instagram, Ossom said that fighting Akpabio was a “waste of time as he is blessed.”
She wrote: “Oga we no Dey fear blackmail-o……. Don’t insult me with $50k, cus am a big brand and I make good money daily. So I can afford any lifestyle without being sponsored by anyone. But you see this Oputa panel in Akwa Ibom State, it has come to stay.
“Meanwhile fighting Akpabio is a waste of time, whom God has blessed no man can curse. Am a voice in Akwa Ibom State and will always stand by my people. There is hunger in the Akwa Ibom state period. I said what I said with my full chest.”
