FG Announces Date for YEIDEP Grant Disbursement — Get ₦50,000 to ₦500,000! | See How to Apply Now

The Federal Government has officially fixed July 2025 as the starting date for disbursing the YEIDEP grant, offering ₦50,000 to ₦500,000 to qualified Nigerian youths with promising business ideas.

This non-repayable grant aims to empower young entrepreneurs, tackle unemployment, and spark economic transformation across the country. With over 4.6 million youths already registered, it’s clear — Nigeria’s young minds are ready to rise.

What is YEIDEP All About?

YEIDEP is a Federal Government initiative driven by the Federal Ministry of Youth Development, in partnership with the Youths Off The Street Initiative (YOTSI).

Its purpose? To offer non-repayable grants (yes, you read that right — it’s not a loan) to support young entrepreneurs across various sectors, including:

  • Agriculture

  • Retail

  • Fashion

  •  ICT

  • Technical & Vocational fields

If you’re passionate about your hustle and need capital to grow, this is the perfect opportunity.

Confirmed Disbursement Schedule

Here’s the official YEIDEP  plan:

Activity Timeline
Account Verification June 1 – June 8, 2025
Beneficiary Engagement June 11 – June 30, 2025
Grant Disbursement July 1 – July 31, 2025

This schedule ensures every verified applicant gets notified and supported in stages. So stay alert and monitor your email or SMS for updates.

How Much Can You Receive?

Each approved applicant will receive ₦50,000 to ₦500,000, depending on:

  • The business category selected

  • Stated financial needs in the application

  • Number of slots available per state

Important: This is a free grant. You don’t have to repay it.

Still Haven’t Applied?

The application portal is still open, but not for long. The final deadline to apply is May 31, 2025.
