You Mistakenly Deleted JAMB Password? Here is What You Should Do.

In most cases, after linking your email to the JAMB portal, the JAMB system will automatically send an email containing a unique password to the linked email.

The password will look by default like cande1fd2e. This is your unique password by default which can be changed if so choose to.

However, most candidates just got these passwords but, by mistake, deleted the password and they were left with confusion.

What to do now?

Don’t panic yet!

You Can Get the Deleted JAMB Password Again

If you’ve deleted or forgotten the password that was previously sent to you, follow the steps below to recover it.

1. Visit the JAMB portal or the e-facility page at https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/

2. Check below the page for “Forget your Password?” Click on “here” to reset your password or just click on this link https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/forgot

3. On the next page, enter your email and click the “Password Reset

If you enter the linked email correctly, you will receive notification that a new password has been sent to your email, “Your Password has been Successfully Reset and sent to your eMail (xxxxxx@gmail.com)”.

Now, check your email for the password that was sent to you. The password will also be unique, something like “cand2ref2.”
