YouTube was down Wednesday night, Downdetector and several news outlets have reported.
An apparent outage hit YouTube, Technology news outlet Endgadget reported the outage around 7:30 p.m. ET Wednesday.
The site’s Twitter account acknowledged the outage.
“If you’re having trouble watching videos on YouTube right now, you’re not alone – our team is aware of the issue and working on a fix. We’ll follow up here with any updates,” they tweeted at 7:23 p.m. ET.
The issues were resolved around 9:15 p.m. ET.
YouTube users quickly noticed the outage and took to social media to express their displeasure.

According to Endgadget, the YouTube TV premium streaming service also appeared to be affected.
