Emeka Rollas, the president of the Actors’ Guild of Nigeria (AGN), has vehemently denied the rumors on social media regarding the death of the veteran actor, Zack Orji.
Zack Orji had been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit at the National Hospital in Abuja on the eve of New Year’s Day.
Taking to Instagram, Rollas issued a reassuring statement, confirming Orji’s continued well-being and branding the reports of his passing as nothing more than the malicious machinations of troublemakers.
“Mr. Zack Orji is very much alive,” Rollas declared, urging the public to dismiss the falsehoods peddled by people bent on fostering unrest.
The AGN president denounced the propagation of such baseless falsehoods, condemning the heartlessness of those responsible for its dissemination.
Rollas affirmed his unshakable conviction that Zack Orji would not only overcome this trial but would also persist in making invaluable contributions to society.
He wrote, ”Mr Zack Orji is alive. Please ignore mischief makers who enjoy circulating fake news.
“This is to show how wicked some people can be. It is unacceptable.
“He will not die but live to declare the good works of God in Jesus’ name.”
These rumors surface in the wake of the recent death of another veteran actor, Amaechi Muonagor, whose demise was attributed to kidney failure.
