Zamfara school children: Pope Francis responds to snatching of 317 female understudies by crooks

Roman Catholic head, Pope Francis has responded to the kidnapping of school children in Zamfara State by bandits.The Pope denounced the assault on honest understudies, portraying it as a “detestable” snatching.

“I join the bishops of Nigeria in condemning this vile abduction of 317 young girls,” the pope said following his week by week Sunday Angelus address to the Catholic reliable on Saint Peter’s Square in the Vatican.

“Let us pray for these girls, so that they may return home quickly.”

More than 310 students were snatched from their lodgings in Government Girls Junior Secondary School in Jangebe, Talata Mafara Local Government Area of Zamfara State in the early long periods of Friday and taken into the woods by presumed bandits.
