Humanitarian Affairs Ministry Of Nigeria are Doing Nothing to Ensure N-Power Beneficiaries Are Paid Nigerians Alleged.
GoldenNewsNg gathered that the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development of Nigeria, under the leadership of Sadiya Farouq, is doing nothing to ensure that erstwhile N-Power beneficiaries with legitimate claims are paid.
Despite the promise by Farouq to pay all outstanding stipends of exited N-Power beneficiaries before the end of 2020, the Nigerian youths are still yet to get paid – more than 100 days after her pledge.
It would be recalled that Farouq had in a tweet on her verified Twitter handle in October 2020 assured former N-Power beneficiaries with “legitimate claims” that they’d be settled their arrears before the start of 2021. However that promise – like many pledges by Farouq and numerous Nigerian politicians – remains empty, AllNews’ findings through communication with several Batch A and B beneficiaries revealed.
“All legitimate claims and those on verified list will be paid before the end of the year,” Farouq had stated in October 2020.
@JaafarSJaafar Dear Sir, Over 14,200 @npower_ng volunteers were not paid their 5-Months withheld stipends from March-July of 2020 by H.M @Sadiya_farouq of @FMHDSD despite a Promise and false hope she gave on 27th/10/2020 to pay them before the end of the year. @nnekaikem1 pic.twitter.com/FJXsfsx0NJ
