A video which captures the moment in which soldiers were jubilating at the farmland alleged to be owned by Boko Haram Leader, Abubakar Shekau has popped up online.

Golden News NG has gathered that Nigerian soldiers reportedly invaded the farmland rumoured to be owned by Shekau inside Sambisa forest in Borno State.

Reports have it that the troops who carried out the taking over of the farmland are the Troops of Operation Takaibango, the local vigilantes and some local farmers.

The video was first posted on Saturday, February 20 by on Twitter by an influencer named Deji Adesogan. In the video, the cameraman could be heard shouting; “This is Shekau’s Farm. We are jubilating inside Shekau’s Farm.”

Sharing the video, @DejiAdeosgan wrote;

Meanwhile, the Nigerian Defence is yet to confirm the story. Details of how the incident still remains sketchy.
