Reno Bemigho Omokri, a former Presidential aide to Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has slammed those are criticizing him for naming his newborn daughter after the Ex-president.
Few days ago, Reno welcomed a baby girl with his wife. He gave her the name ‘Ebele’ which happens to be the middle name of his former boss. He had also announced that he named her after Jonathan.
This had sparked comments online and some Nigerians were of the view that Reno did that because Jonathan raised him from grass to grace. Reacting to this, Reno has said that his loyalty isn’t for sale and he has never been on the grass.
According to the author, right from when he was young, he had travelled to many countries. Taking to his social media pages, Reno shared a throwback picture of him and his parents at Disneyland.
He stressed that his parents thought him how to make money and at a very tender age, the Scripture- Bible had already determined the cause of his life. He added that Grace has always been his lifetime portion.
He wrote;
“Someone said I am loyal to former President Goodluck Jonathan, and named my child after him because he raised me from grass to grace. From cradle to now, I have never been grass. This is me at Disneyland aged 9. By the time I was 12, I had been to more countries than the average American would visit in his time on Earth. Grace has always been my lifetime portion.
My parents taught me how to make money by ensuring that I was well educated, well traveled and well tutored in the ways of God. I began reading Scripture at age 6 and it has determined the course of my life. As a result, my loyalty can never be for sale! ”
