  1. Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC)

NNPC is one of the highest paying industries. No matter the field you find yourself, one can be sure of an awesome pay in the industry.

NNPC Team Manager earns an average of about ₦ 1.19m monthly, Well Operations Superintendent earn up to ₦ 1.4m monthly and Human Resources Analysts earn around ₦665K.

Interns earn between ₦13000 to ₦30000 depending on the department and unit.

 

2. Central Bank of Nigeria

The CBN staff salary structure is quite high but these salaries are not easily disclosed. The salaries below was inputed by some CBN staffs.

Deputy Governor CBN earns around ₦3.34m monthly, Branch Controller earns ₦900k and Managers earn around ₦700k.

3. Nigerian Communication Commission (NCC)

Nigerian Communication Commission is another government agency that pays high salary in Nigeria.

Nigeria digital economy is enjoying a rapid growth and massive improvements. Nigerian Communication Commission for this reason is among government agencies that pays well in Nigeria.

Since its establishment in the year 1992, the Commission has overseen the advent and growth of telecommunications industries in Nigeria.

4. Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS)

The Entry level salary of FIRS employees ranges from ₦80,000 to ₦100,000 monthly.

5. Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR)

Department of Petroleum Resources is charged with mandate of ensuring compliance to petroleum laws, regulations and guidelines in the Oil and Gas Industry.

The agency monitors the activities of players in the oil and gas industry. It is also one of the highest paying federal government agency in Nigeria. The agency offers exciting career to its employees.

6. Petroleum Product Pricing Regulatory Agency (PPPRA)

Petroleum Product Pricing Regulatory Agency is one of Nigerian’s downstream sector regulators.

They agency is overseeing gradual deregulation and liberalization of downstream sector.

A level 8 staff of the agency is estimated to earn between N140,000 to N160,000 on a monthly basis.

7. Nigeria Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA)

The Nigeria Maritime Administration and Safety Agency which plays an important role in the economic growth of the country is one of those agencies known for giving out awesome paycheck to their employees monthly.

Their entry level staffs earn around ₦120,000 to ₦140,000 monthly.

Secretary at NIMASA earns ₦285K monthly.

8. National Pension Commission (PENCOM)

National Pension Commission staff enjoys high remuneration.

It is one of the federal government agency with biggest salary for its staff.

A level 8 staff of the Commission, at the end of his or her induction/recruitment training, get allowances in excess of over 2 million naira.

On monthly bases, level 8 Staff of the Commission earn around N180,000.

 

9. Bank Of Industry (BOI)

There are several reports stating that Bank of Industry is one of the high paying government agencies in Nigeria .

The bank is responsible for provision of credit facilities for industrialization.

It also supports Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) through micro credit facilities.Unconfirmed reports suggest that some staff of the bank take home around N500,000 per month.

10. Nigeria Port Authority (NPA)

Nigeria Port Authority, agency is responsible for control and management of Nigerian various ports is one of the country’s high paying agencies.

NPA staff enjoys attractive take home pays.
