As the 2023 general elections draw closer, Niger State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has inaugurated 22 Directorates of the Gubernatorial Campaign Council.
While inaugurating the Campaign Council at the APC Presidential Campaign office in Minna, the Governorship Candidate of the Party in Niger state, Hon. Umar Bago charged members not to betray the trust reposed on them adding “to whom much is given, much is expected”.
Hon. Bago who was represented by his Deputy, Comrade Yakubu Garba, charged all Party members to be patient, share ideas and use their tremendous experiences on how to win the forthcoming elections with ease.
In his words: “we need to hit the ground running, try to do everything legally possible to achieve result because we have limited time.
Do not betray the trust reposed on you, let us all work together and win at all levels.”
He added that there are two outstanding Directorates that will be added soonest.
In his acceptance speech, the Director General of the council, General Isah Sidi Rijau assured that they will do their best to ensure the APC wins in the 2023 general elections at all levels.
Also, in an interview with Journalists, the Director of Media and Publicity, Mr Jonathan Tsado Vatsa said that the goal is to win elections, adding that “our their strategies to victory would be inhouse kept secret.”
