Following rumours of threat that civil servants who do not vote for the All Progressives Congress APC Governorship Candidate would be sacked, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Niger State has called on Civil servants in the State to ignore any form of intimidation saying “it lacks substance”.
While calling on workers in the State to come out en mass to massively vote for the PDP governorship candidate, Hon. Isah Liman Kantigi, the Party in a statement signed by Director Communications, PDP Campaign Council, Mohammed Yahaya (Sai Baba) and made available to Journalists described the APC’s threat as thuggish.

Accordingly, he said “they have lost and glaringly impotent with nothing to show; the same APC that spent the past 8 years partying and flying private jets while not paying salaries or paying in percentage and squandering pension fund contributions.
“Now, they are even humiliating civil servants and threatening them to vote for the APC by force or face sack. Well, it is an empty threat, they can not win.”
He further charged Civil servants to note that the threats are impotent, weak and of no consequence, adding that “they are already on their way out of power in Niger State from May 29th, 2023.
“They can not do anything, the only way to ditch them out after these eight years of suffering, is to go out en mass, vote massively for Hon. Isah Liman Kantigi and all PDP candidates so as to return the good old days of Payment of Salaries on or before 25th of every month, leave grants, Housing projects, Free transport for students, Scholarships, festive Salary bonus, workshops and seminars, road constructions, and prompt pension payments”.
Yahaya further disclosed that, “just the way they have threatened you with sack, is the same way they did not employ your children; the decision to sack APC instead is now in your hands.”
