Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), has stated that if he is elected, he may not rely on Nigeria’s healthcare system for personal use.
Goldennewsng reports that Atiku explained that he may not have access to health care facilities in Nigeria.
Atiku lamented the limitations of Nigeria’s healthcare system during the Arise TV Townhall debate.
The question posed to the former vice president was whether, as president, he would prioritize Nigeria’s medical facilities over those of other countries.
He stated, “We are constrained; We are aware of our limitations, and there may not be health facilities that cater to my needs.
Atiku only visits Nigeria for important holidays and political events. He lives in Dubai.
