The 2023 JAMB Mock Examination is scheduled to take place on Thursday, 30th March 2023. The Mock Examination is an optional examination conducted by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) to prepare and familiarize interested candidates with the Computer-Based Test (CBT) environment before the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) is conducted.

Candidates who indicate their interest in taking the Mock Examination during registration will be required to pay One Thousand Naira (₦1,000). The Mock Examination will be conducted in all accredited CBT centers across the country.

Interested candidates are advised to print their notification slips from Thursday, 23rd March 2023, to access important information such as their Registration Number, Venue, Date, and Time of the Examination. It is important for candidates to arrive at their centers at least one hour before the scheduled start time for biometric verification.

JAMB has reiterated its zero-tolerance policy for examination malpractice, warning candidates not to bring prohibited items such as wristwatches, calculators, flash drives, phones, among others, into the examination hall. Candidates are also advised to avoid applying “laale” to their hands to make fancied drawings and paintings, as this could impede biometric verification by interfering with the whorls of their fingers.

By adhering to JAMB’s guidelines and preparing

Candidates are also advised to be at their centers at least one hour before the examination for biometric verification. Additionally, JAMB has reiterated its zero-tolerance policy for examination malpractice, warning candidates not to bring prohibited items such as wristwatches, calculators, flash drives, and phones, among others, into the examination hall.
