According to the UK government’s official website, the roster encompasses 38 specific occupations currently open for consideration. The website outlines the criteria as follows:

“Verify the list of professions in short supply for each region within the UK. Should your occupation be featured on this list, you can qualify for a Skilled Worker visa by receiving 80% of the customary wage for the position.

Annual salaries for these roles are calculated based on a 37.5-hour work week, and adjustments must be made for other work schedules, reflecting the weekly hours indicated by your employer.”

Several of the designated positions command remunerations of up to N15,000 per hour.

Welcoming immigrants through work visas, UK enterprises are actively embracing this avenue.

The roster of enterprises licensed to sponsor and facilitate the relocation of international employees to the UK was unveiled. These entities span diverse sectors, including technology, commerce, education, media, advertising, and engineering.
