Following the construction of bridges in their communities, residents of five communities in Agaie local government area have expressed their Joy.
The five Bridges constructed by Nuhu Lafarma foundation are worth millions of Naira by the Nuhu Lafarma foundation Agaie.
Our Correspondent gathered that, before the construction of the bridges the roads were a nightmare for the Residents as they could not transport their goods and services as well as the Agricultural products to the market.
A resident of Nikoka village, Yunusa Abubakar while commending the giant strides and the philanthropic act done by the Foundation, called on individuals and cooperate organizations at all levels to emulate the kind gestures of the foundation.
Expressing sigh of relief, a resident of Ndabade Village, Usman Abdullahi said it was riskful attending weekly market days as they were either attacked by robbers or trekked several kilometers before getting vehicles.
“We have suffered alot, even when we are taking our families to hospital, the experience was a very terrible and there was increase in robbery.”
In his remarks, Chairman, Board of Trustees, Nuhu Lafarma foundation Agaie, who was represented by his Spokesman, Mohammed Jamilu said he feels honored whenever he is able to touch the lives especially in the Rural areas.
Among beneficiary communities are Agaie, Nikoka, Takuti, Ndabade and Kutirko.
