  2. Select option “8” for “Card Services”.
  3. Select option “1” for “Block Card”.

  5. You will receive a message confirming that your ATM card has been blocked.

Alternatively, you can also use the following USSD code to block your ATM card:

  1. Dial *966*911# from the phone number linked to your Zenith Bank account.
  2. Enter your account number.
  3. Confirm your account number by entering it again.
  4. Enter your USSD banking PIN.
  5. Follow the prompt to block your ATM card.

Some verification steps may be required to confirm your identity before the card can be blocked

2. Block Zenith Bank ATM card Using SMS

This is free on your account. However, standard SMS charges may apply.

Here are steps to block your Zenith Bank ATM card using SMS:

  1. Open your phone’s messaging app.
  2. Compose a new text message.
  3. Type “BLOCK (space) NUBAN (space) ATM” and send it to 08070-333-333.
  4. (Replace “NUBAN” with your 10-digit Zenith Bank account number and “ATM” with the last four digits of your ATM card number).
