Kassim Afegbua, an individual from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and previous helper to ex-National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Adams Oshiomhole host been ousted by the gathering over supposed enemy of gathering exercises.
Review, Afegbua had blamed PDP National Chairman, Uche Secondus, of misrepresentation and had asked the Economic and Financial Commission, EFCC to test the gathering’s accounts.
The PDP declared his ejection in a letter endorsed by the gathering’s administrator in Edo State, Tony Aziegbemi. The letter was routed to Secondus and named, ‘Re: Resolution Of The Expulsion Of Kassim Afegbua As A Member Of PDP’.
“Mr Kassim Afegbua as a part occupied with arrangement of hostile to party exercises in his ward previously and during Edo State Gubernatorial Election of September 19, 2020.
“All endeavors by his ward, nearby government region and state disciplinary advisory groups to tie down his participation at different gatherings to get himself free from all charges demonstrated failed.
“I thusly forward herewith to you the ejection of Mr Kassim Afegbua as collectively affired by the state disciplinary council of our gathering in Edo State.”
Yet, responding in an explanation named, ‘On My Purported Expulsion’, Afegbua depicted the gathering’s choice as “silly, ridiculous and draconian,” saying he would draw in his attorneys.
“Most importantly, it is an explicit untruth that I was at any point welcome to any disciplinary advisory group. The state director is simply acting the content of one Uche Secondus who is urgently putting forth an attempt to do a lost political feud as a result of my appeal to the EFCC to look for responsibility and straightforwardness.
“On the off chance that this ludicrous, bizarre and indicated removal is intended to discourage me from seeking after my call for straightforwardness, responsibility and integrity in the administration of the gathering’s assets, let it be realized that I will seek after my call to an obvious end result,” he promised.
