England head trainer, Gareth Southgate, has demanded he wants time to ‘reflect’ prior to affirming whether he is prepared to go on as the Three Lions chief after their 2022 FIFA World Cup quarter-last 2-1 loss against France on Saturday night.

After promising so much in Qatar, England’s 2022 World Cup campaign ended in heartbreaking fashion against France last night.
Aurelien Tchouameni’s long-range effort gave France the lead in the first half, but Harry Kane scored an England equalizer 10 minutes after the game restarted.
At that point, Southgate’s team appeared to be the more likely team to win, but striker Olivier Giroud scored with a header, and Kane missed another chance from the spot to send the game into extra time.
ITV asked Southgate about his future and he responded, ” I think after each competition, we’ve sat and assessed and reflected.
“That requires some time to ensure that everyone makes the right choices.”
